Default Do you know what Hooker and Edelbrock headers look like?

Can someone tell me the difference between these headers? Which are the ones everyone uses or talks about. From what I understand Pacesetters are pacesetters but Hooker and Edelbrock make different versions so when guys say get Hooker or Edelbrock it doesnt tell me enough kinda like sayin get a set of Goodyears. I would really like to wrap this up with some help.

Would the Hooker 1 7/8 Super Comps be a good compromise to say a Kooks or American Racing? They are almost 300 cheaper than either.

Skyhigh. Are you referring to the 2290HKR or the 2253HKR? Thats why I am using pictures because the names are getting skewed.

No clue I just know you have the Comp and the Super Comp. The Super Comp are 1 7/8 and the Comp are 1 3/4

The old super comps are 1 3/4 the new super comps are 1 7/8 and have different collector styles and primary tube shapes, routing and lenghths. Thats why I asked my original question to start the thread so that when someone says their hookers fit good or increase TQ or they have had problems then I know which ones they have. Im trying to buy a set but its hard interpreting the info on hookers.

I am wondering if they would be worth the savings? For the difference you could almost pick up a TSP True Dual set up and the headers for what the Kooks cost. Someone please post more info

Luis youre right.

Skyhigh with modding your stroker Kooks probably are the ticket.

MongooSS I agree with big cam/heads/intake and maybe nitrous, the edelbrocks stepped to 1 7/8 would suit your set up better. Even so how do your Hookers (which model?) fit and perform on your SS ?
