Alternator issues

I did a quick search and came to the conclusion my alternator might not be charging because of the exciter wire. I am only getting about 1.2v through it to the alternator. Should it be 12v or higher? I tried looking for a fusible link, but am unable to find it. Anyone know abouts where it is?

I don't think the exciter wire is fused...at least I've never found a fuse in line with mine, and I've had it off many times. Not sure what the voltage through it is supposed to be either...

I just checked voltage at the PCM and its reading the same, indicating that the exciter wire is not broken.

I think I figured it out. Alt must be bad. With the exciter wire connected, there is only 1.2v passing through it. With the exciter wire disconnected from the alt, there is 11.4v passing through it..
