Please help me discover A random noise please?

In october i installed some kooks lt's and catted mids alond with a corsa exhaust. Since then i have heard a chatter that is getting louder and more noticable every day and for the life of me cannot find it. It sounds like a chatter or rattle potentialy off of the header on the passenger side but i have checked and nothing seems to be close enough or have any flex to rattle off of it. I thought it was the heat shield on the starter so i removed it and its still there. I also found a trans line that was near it so i moved that a little farther away. Any ideas please help and this is an 05 gto if that makes a difference.

If you are using band clamps you may want to go and
retighten them all just for yucks. They conform to the
pipe after a while and can become looser than when
first installed.

I also had one plug-bolt back out of my rear O2 bung
in the Y-pipe and rattle (never fell out, but was wobbly
loose).

i had this problem,,,,i thought it was a heat sheild too,,,was the connection of my Y to the I,,tightened it down really good, and i havnt heard it since.

You might get under and rap the pipe with a soft mallet, listen
for a clinker inside the pipe or something else that follows from
the initial "blip".

A regular tick could be an exhaust leak. See if it gets louder
when you load up the motor. Maybe listen up by the motor
with a tube, like stethoscope, see if it's just needing header
bolts retightened. The noise growing louder seems not so
much like a crud-inside or plain interference problem. But
gaps, cracks, holes can expand.

hummm well my y pipe only hit when I hit the gas because your motor moves alot and at WOT mine hit. so even though you look under it now and their looks like theirs room it may not be so when hitting the gas. just an idea.

Catted mids? Did you say you have cats? Check to make sure the insides of the cats aren't coming apart, this can be done by knocking on the cats. If they make a rattling sound, that means they are falling apart. That wgat happened to my aftermarket cats... I had them replaced because they were defective.

i think i found it. A loose 02 sensor on the back passenger side. couldnt even tell by looking at it, had to jiggle it.
