o2 extensions

Do I need 02 extensions if I am deleting emissions (air/egr)?? Makes sense that I would not need my o2's if I am deleting emissions, but in alot of the how-to header installs they mention getting them. I will be getting the codes taken care of in a tune. Thanks guys.

The 02 extensions are for the front 02s. You can not remove those. The only 02s you can remove are the rear which just monitor the cats, the fronts monitor how the engine is running.

NO!!! They communicate with your computer to fix your A/F ratio and you'll never get a good tune unless you go speed density which you have no reason to do. You will not like your car and vice versa without properly functioning o2's. They are there for a good reason. The back two are just "tattletales" and you can just tune out. Your tuner will tell you all this......

You can either go with O2 extensions or WS6store.com sells the Corvette rear O2 Sensors that are long enough, plus they are new O2 sensors. Just a different thing to look at.
