K&N filter
Direct-Flo Lid
FTRA
Smooth bellows
TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 w/2.5str.
B&M trans. cooler
ES poly trans. mount
ASP Pulley
Jet-Hot LT’s w/3” ORY
3” cat-back
Flow Tech Cut-out
Diablo Predator
1.5” DMS Lowering Springs
BMR LCA’s w/relocation brackets
17” 35th Aniv. Wheels w/17x11 rears
315/35/17 Nitto DR’s
*No Weight Reduction

Thanks, Richard

If you consider this a bolt on: LS6 intake.

Good luck.

i would say gears depending on how much highwaydriving you do. i dont think they will put you at 11.9's though . i say slap on a 150 shot and try to scrath 10's
btw: what do you weigh?
edit: maybe a shift kit would help too

heads, cam, nitrous take ur pick. gears would be nice but like it's been said I don't think they will put u in the 11s

buddy of mine has a 99 TA auto, he has a stall, full exhaust, P/P LS1 heads, lid, his own tune, and a few other small bolt ons and he runs 11.9s on slicks.

What about a bigger stall? I think the suspension would pay off later, so you might want to go ahead and get started. I would start with LCA's and relocation brackets and then probaly get some hal's. I also think that a ported TB is good and it will also pay divedends later.

It is a daily driver so I don't want to strip it
Lets see so far:
LS6 intake
3.73 gears(how would this work with a 2.5 str. converter?)
Ported TB
Electric WP?
Adjustable shocks
Suspension work
Drag Lites for track
Anything else?

Bauer Ported TB
HAL/QA1 shocks
Subframe connectors (especially if you have t-tops)
drag wheels w/Hoosier QTP's or ET Streets (those big heavy 17" wheels probably don't help much on the track.
maybe some easy weight reduction: washer fluid bottle, seats, spare tire/jack, misc items out of car, etc

If you drive it on the highway, do not go up to 3.73's they will be too much in an a4 and your gas milage will go to $h!t. 3.42 will be a big difference, and the butt-dyno will definately notice it. Now if you just drive around town, then I say go for it, but if you drive 70 mph for extended amounts of time then don't do it.

dont ss's come with 3.23 gears like WS6's? if so i wouldnt think 3.42's would make much of a difference. also for your question about the gears and 2.5 STR i dont know how much traction you would get but i dont think it would be much.

Yes the SS has 3.23 gears and with the 2.5 str will spin the 315 DR's pretty good. The best 60' I have gotten on them is a 1.71 with the Traction Control on(couldn't hook turned off). I was thinking of buying ET Streets and 3.73 gears, but I don't know if the 2.5 str would like the 3.73's(may make it loose top end)?

15 inch wheels and drag radials will hook much better. The extra sidewall helps, I know guys with low to mid 1.6's and have read of guys with high 1.5s on 15in drag radials.

also if you spinning like hell now DO NOT get gears. all they will do is make you spin more. also, what rpm do you launch at? i have neer seen an instance where it's best to launch with traction controll on. it bogs your engine and thats how it stops the spinning. your engine usually stayes bogged a little after you stop to make sure you dont start again and that usually kills some time in the 1/4

Well let me see I tried off idle-spin,1000rpm-spin,1500-spin,and 2000-spin , but if I use traction control I can leave off idle or at 1500rpm with no spin
