Plug wire life?
After being on vacation for 2 weeks, I started driving my Formula back and forth to work, and it would start idling rough every now and then. Not much problem on steady cruise or hard acceleration, but on idle in or out of gear, rpm would drop from 650 to 500, then something like a slight knock, then return to normal rpm, and start again. I pulled the stock wires and installed MSD wires (a major PITA on the passenger side! ) and the problem seems to be solved. Car only has about 55,000 miles. Anyone else experienced this?

Re: Plug wire life?
Did plugs ~11,000 miles ohm'd the wires and they were in the 305 to 325 resistance range.
Did plugs again ~17,000 miles ohm'd the wires and they were in the 315 to 335 resistance range.
Did plugs again ~22,000 miles ohm'd the wires and they were in the 325 to 345 resistance range.
Change to SRP's heat protected wires and the stock wires were in the 335-350 resistance range, around ~27,000 miles
This was just with stock manifolds but I think the heat was slowly getting them then. I think with headers they not fair too well over time.
just my .02
