Default sheetmetal intakes?

how well do these flow? good for driving around? how much would this cost me? where do i find them? thanks for help.

They flow good at higher rpm's but hurt the bottom end. They wouldn't be practicle at all for a DD.

my car is more strip than street. only drive on the street for late night action or just to cruise around and play. i like the one from beck and wilson, but cant afford right now.

At your HP level, a single plane would probably be smarter money wise. Most sheet metal intakes are easily $1500+ as they tend to be custom made for your perticular application and needs.

The "cheaper" sheetmetal intakes will run you 2500-3k, a well built one will cost you north of $4500. If you are on a hyd. cam and stock (head) castings, look into a single plane intake as the gains will be nearly the same for less than 1/4 of the price.

ya i plan on goin bigger heads, cam, and better flowing intake. i can prolly reach 500hp/450tq to the wheels.
