Header bolts...
Header bolts... Will the stock manifolds bolts work on headers or do I need to pick some up? What do you guys recommend for gaskets, something thats not going to blow out in a week?
If your stock gaskets look a little beat, pick up some new GM ones for peace of mind. When I installed my Kooks, I re-used my stock gaskets. When I put on my new heads, I put on new gaskets on for that peace. But only if your stockers are in rough shape.
I reused stock gaskets and have no had a problem yet. I had planned on using the new bolts that came with my Pacesetters but I forgot them at home so I just reused the stockers and again have had no problems.
