New Intake/throttle body......TPS question

New Intake/throttle body......TPS question I just bought a 90mm intake and throttle body. I did some searching on the forum and read a little about this subject. After I install this thing is there a sequence I have to go threw to reset the TPS? Something like turn the key on for 30sec then turn it off.....unplug TPS turn key on for 30sec turn it off.....plug TPS in and turn key on for 30 sec turn key off......turn key on then start car? Any info would help, I don't have access to a scan tool. Just want to get it runing descent so I can make it to a exhaust shop(open headers). After I get that handled it's going to a tuner.

Yes, that will work followed by an idle relearn procedure. The above is done when people use the set screw on the TB to open it up a bit to idle better. Say you open the blade up to 3%; you can use the above to reset the car to think that 3% is now zero.

start engine with AC OFF, let it idle for about 5 minutes.
Then you want to turn AC on full blast (coldest setting) and idle for 5 minutes. This allows PCM to calibrate with the idle trim cells
