Default exhaust cut-outs

ok i bought exhaust cut outs from texas speed everyone i talked to said to put to on your car. i have done a little research and was told that 2 cause the ls motors to lose to much compersion....... is this true? should i only put one cut-out back on the Y-pipe?

I did just one in my i-pipe. Put it right before the pipe goes over the axle. There is a nice spot for it there. Some people do put two on theirs. One on each side of the y-pipe. It's up to you though really. One in the i-pipe is a lot easier and does pretty much the same thing.

ive never heard that. maybe whoever told u meant backpressure, but even at that 2 cut outs are fine. There's quite a few people on here running two cut outs and i'm sure they'll chime in.
