Default 241 or 853 heads?

what is the difference between these two castings and which ones flow the best?

241's flow better ,,i couldnt tell ya the differences though...

the 853s were made from a sand cast whereas the later 241s were made from a foam cast....

what does that mean? the sand castings have more pits and rigid points in the runners and the foam castings are alot smoother in the runners due to the foam

but if they are both ported/hogged out i dont think there will be much of a difference

but stock for stock theres a difference

only difference of about 10 hp, but every hp counts
