ridding mac header rasp ????

Default ridding mac header rasp ????

does cutting the ball flange off and welding a new flange really get rid of the rasp. also has anyone ever been able to pull this off while headers are still in. thanks for any info

From all the research I have done on the subject (being a fellow MAC W/ORP owner), either hi-flo cats, or tiny bullet mufflers in the Y-pipe are the best solution.

PS I have done neither. I now have magnaflow cat-back that helps tremendously at part throttle. But at WOT, it rasps like a mother...
