ridding mac header rasp ????

ridding mac header rasp ???? does cutting the ball flange off and welding a new flange really get rid of the rasp. also has anyone ever been able to pull this off while headers are still in. thanks for any info

Re: ridding mac header rasp ???? From all the research I have done on the subject (being a fellow MAC W/ORP owner), either hi-flo cats, or tiny bullet mufflers in the Y-pipe are the best solution.

PS I have done neither. I now have magnaflow cat-back that helps tremendously at part throttle. But at WOT, it rasps like a mother...
