my exhaust sounds raspy, would a SLP "Loudmouth" Shotgun Resonator bullet muffler clean it up some? and is it going to be super quiet after putting it on? i want to keep it loud, but just clean up some of the sound to where it doesnt sound like s*&^ lol

thanks,
michael

the LM2 resonator quells the rasp a bit more than the LM1.
are you going to and a resonator to your GMMG?

Yeah I'm gonna add a resonator to the gmmg in the I pipe, is that bad?, and the one I linked, that's not the lm2 I guess?

well after recently changing my LM1 to an LM2 i can tell you
there is not a huge difference, but there is a difference.
i suggest getting a catback with a muffler (magnaflow, hooker, borla)
you can most likely get a good price for your GMMG.
i personally have grown sick of my LM1/LM2 and eventually will get a magnaflow.
FYI a magnaflow can be found on EBAY for $350.00 shipped.
BTW the LM1 is just a big empty can.
also the resonator will need to be offset in the i pipe area.
you will probably need the LM2 retro fit kit.
at the front of the LM1 resonator the inlet has a slight bend in it
and unless your catback is similar you will need some custom bending to fit it.
hope this helps.

just use a magnaflow or dynaflow bullet. Cheaper and would clean up the sound better.

Magnaflow bullet #14419 is a good one. I have two on my true dual setup and it's so much better than the LM1 I had. No rasp at all. It's deep and still demands everyone to look when go by.

Magnaflow bullet all the way. I've had Magnaflow setups on three cars now, 03 Cobra, 04 Mach1 and now my 99 Camaro. All sounded awesome and never a raspy tone.

ok so the magnaflow BEFORE my 2 gmmg mufflers, would that still have sound to it with headers & no cats?

heres what i think im gonna do if it is nasty raspy w/o any extra mufflers.. the magnaflow on the i-pipe before my gmmg mufflers to kill the rasp and quiet it down some(for when i dont wanna hear the super loudness all the time) and an electric cutout before the magnaflow. my question now is... does anyone think i should put the cutout after the magnaflow? and will it have any sound with the exhaust going through both the GMMG and the magna bullet..

sorry if i sound confusing, just got off an 12 hr shift lol

anyways, thanks

michael
