Default GMMG!!!

Well I finally installed my GMMG exhaust and it sounds bad AZZ! I currently have Hooker LT's w/ORY pipe and there is no rasp like I thought there would be. Gotta say this was money well spent!

No rasp, man you must be deaf
Have somebody else drive your car for you, so you can stand behind it to see what it actually sounds like

REALLY I thought that would be more raspy than a muffler... I have been looking for something with a deeper tone. Does it have a deep tone??

My Hookers are going to be comming within the weeks. As of right now I have macs and GMMG, and the rasp is HORRIBLE. I was really upset when I finally get headers on the car and it sounded like that. I put a 18inch bullet in the I-pipe, Now it sounds pretty good. But im still not impressed so I thats why I am getting Hookers. Has anyone heard Macs VS Hookers?

The GMMG does get a bit raspy w/longtubes, but I think that makes it sound even better than w/ stock manifolds. I can't wait to get LT's w/ my GMMG.

The guy probably doesn't notice the rasp because he has a stall(which actually hides it quite well).

But anyone with a stock-converted A4 or manual transmission car will get a lot of rasp through the GMMG without cats. But that includes just about every other aftermarket cat-back available for our cars. LS1's just get very raspy/tinny without cats regardless of the "single" exhaust system being used(some just sound worse than others).

I've heard the GMMG both ways, and I personally think it sounds MUCH better with the cats in place.

Mike
