Default Mac Mid Ground clearance

Ive been looking into doing headers on my 98z, looking at mid length headers because of the 3" drop on my car. Does anyone have any pictures of Mac or pacesetter mid length ground clearance. especially the y pipe clearance.

They tuck real nice, I had them on my '98 that was lowered a little & my friend had them on a coupld of cars with Eibach sportlines & we never had any ground clearence problems.

Here is a pic from the side of my '98, not sure how much it shows, I can't see the pic at work.

3" drop!!! That bitch must ride like a farm wagon.

I've got Mac mids with cats. The lowest hanging part is the lower shell of the cat. The pipes themselves tuck up real nice. I'm lowered almost an inch and can clear normal sized speed bumps without draging if I go slow.

It would probably be equivalent to an Eibach prokit on a car with longtubes.

if you do buy the macs make sure you weld the outside and port the weld out of the inside i wish i woulda did that to mine but i wasn't aware cuz noone told me when i bought mine but if you spend 800 bucks for someone to install them make sure they're modded correctly, it's too late for me to do it, but not you, just thought i'd give you the heads up because i think welding inside the header tubes was not a wise choice for mac to do and don't understand the reasoning, unless they did it just for appearance
