cats question i wanted to increase my air flow in the exhaust on my 2002 TA. Im putting a gmmg system on my car and i still have the stock headers,y, and cats. Would hollowing out my cats screw up my o2 sensors? if not, is it worht hollowing out the cats to gain air flow?
I hear you on the money. I did my upgrades one at a time over a few years. Short answer is you could gut the cats and then get the O2 errors tuned out but it's a bad idea. Better to wait, save up and do it right with headers and a cat'd Y.
