Dude, $450 for duals is far from pricey.... That's actually pretty cheap. Go have one priced out from any exhaust shop and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Dynomax bullets are 40 bucks a piece from Summit. Thier x xpipe kit is about 95 bucks. You will need 1 extra bend which is another 20. Throw in some hangers and bandclamps, another 20-30 bucks and for less than 250 you can have everything you need.

Now can you do it yourself? There is cutting and welding involved. If you can do it then you will need a muffler shop. If they are gonna charge you 150 - 200 to put it on right then you are close to the price of the kit from TSP that bolts on.

From the headers back? If so, your case is a rarity...

Think about that one, you usually get what you pay for. They could come out top notch, but its not likely, make sure they tuck it up tight.

Good luck finding a muffler shop that can mandrel bend. EVERY shop I have ever seen does either wrinkle bending or crush bending... aka turning your 3" pipe into bottleneck city. Go with the TSP duals, and if you just can't stand it flange them and run them out the back like theblurls1 did some years back. Just my $0.02

Well, 300$ is just for welding and supplying non-stainless pipe. He had to bring the mufflers. That seems about right to me. And I don't know about you guys, but if 450$ is a good deal, then 300+150 = 450$ ... then again it could be a cheap pile of crap that they are just slapping together that is all slip fit trash.
