Default Cut-out

I just got my cut-out installed a few days ago and absolutely love it. I was just wondering if it was bad to keep it uncapped for long periods of time. Also, has anyone had any trouble with the cops in CA because of it?

You might get bothered as it can be a little loud. As far as hurting the car, don't worry about it. Myself as well as three of my friends that have these cars all run them with the cut-outs open and we have had no problems.

I installed my cutout around a month ago and I've had it uncapped the entire time. I don't see why there would be any damage from it being uncapped. As for the cops, I live in a small rural town in Central California and I haven't had any problems. Just don't do anything stupid in front of them and you should be fine.

Only thing you have to worry about car-wise is toasting your O2 sensors over time. Depending on placement of the cut-out this could be weeks or years.

You will be alright - I have had cutouts on cars open for years - All you are doing is getting rid of the exhuast sooner than in the tail pipe

I, along with many others, have had a TON of issues with electric ones. I've had my motor fall of the damn thing and drag 3 times.
