Installed..... Headers, ORY & Lanes 4 inch single This past weekend I installed my headers, ory and Lanes four inch Magnagflow muffler (single inlet single outlet). Before I had had the stock manifolds (99 year model), stock Y with cats and a Dynomax Ultra Flo three inch single inlet/outlet muffler inplace of the stock crosflow muffler.......I am impressed. The sound is just a quiet at 70 mph, but at WOT the car really roars. My brother was following me to see how loud it was outside the car at WOT and he compared the sound VOLUME (not tone) to a Jake Brake on a deisel. I have never had as many compliments as I have had this past week. I bought the Lane's four inch used from a guy in Dallas (he decided on a Lanes true dual three inch with a Y pipe). It fit very well and I was worried because it came off of a LT1 convertible. I even contacted Lane and told him about what I had done and he was willing to give me any information I needed. I did not even buy the system from him and he was willing to help, that is pretty damn cool. After speaking with Lane I decided that that is where I am going to buy my Weld Draglites, just try and return the great service. I have not dynoed and will not have the car tuned until I have changed the intake (LS2, LS6, LSX, Futrual Motorsports etc.) and install my cam. The point of my post was how well I was treated by Lane even though I was not actaully a customer. I did not spend money with him but he was willing to help me with something I had bought second hand.
