i would save the $$$ and just port/polish your stock t/b or buy a stocker that was already modified. the inlet on the ls6 intake is only 78mm anyway. from personal experience (bbk t/b), i have found that unless you have an aluminum intake that you can port the inlet, the larger t/b's are over-kill. just my experience/opinion tho.

you can buy the cross-over and rear plugs or modify you factory lines to work. i modified mine, thus keping a cross-over at the rear also and saving some $$$.

Dude....You already got your answer.

A T/B that is bigger than the intake inlet is a waste of money and will only cause turbulance. Once the stock T/B is opened up it is the same diameter as the LS6 intake inlet.

just port your own tb man . real easy work and you can spend all the extra money you saved on more mods like a pulley . i modified my own coolant pipes with some 50/50 solder and they have been good for 3 years .

i was an idiot and bought it...... its only a 2mm difference and i dont have time to send my TB away..... i did also look for an extra TB for sale first though. Thanks for all the info guys. I will most likely send my TB away and get it ported then sell the PP 80mm. I only have 1 day to do my Stranos, Longtubes, and the Ls6 intake. The PP TB will save me a decent amount of time and will be a better gain over my stock ls1 unported TB.

I have a ported 80mm BBK on a ported LS6 manifold. The manifold is ported past the stock gasket though, so it is sealed to the T/B.
