Will Headers bolt up to stock exhaust??

I want to get headers and am wondering if they will just bolt up to my stock exhaust or if i have to buy a new ypipe.

some shorties will bolt up to the stock y-pipe, but with mids or longtubes you will need a new y-pipe

i started header install today, you need a new y pipe, depending on your application. i have LTs that require a new y pipe.

headers and y should hook up to your stock cat back if that is what you were wondering
