Loudmouth

looking to get SLP loudmouth for my 2000 firehawk was just wondering which has better sound quality loudmouth 1 or 2? let me know what you have and help me out

Depends on your personal preference. LM1 is louder than LM2

with longtubes and no cats LM1 is so loud, yoll love it only atidle and WOT, the other 90% of your driving, such as accelerating not WOT, cruising or coasting.. your gonna probably hate how obnoxious it sounds...

I can tell you from personal experience that the LM1 sounds really good with stock manifolds, but if you plan on adding longtubes later, I wouldn't go with the LM1. For the money you could go with the hooker catback or the magnaflow and not have to deal with changing later like I did. I took mine off and it's still sitting in my garage. Went to a true dual setup now with two magnaflow bullets and the difference is night and day. It's still loud when it needs to be, but quiet also. Of course, this is just my opinion and it's personal preference for everyone.

Lets just put it this way, if you got a girlfriend that never shuts up and likes to nag ya while you drive you'll love this exhaust cuz you can always get away with saying "HUH!!,.. WOMAN,... I CAN'T HHEEAARR YYOOUU!!!"

i loved my SLP LM1 with h/c, LT's/ORY setup. made 444/395 to the rear with it. I only swapped out to TD's because I got them new for a very good price...now at 437/404 to the rear untuned...

i think for inspection this year i will put the catback back on just to pass. my TD's w/SLP LM resonators is even louder than my SLP LM catback setup...

i love my LM 1 with longtubes and cats, it is loud at idle and just plain nasty at WOT, but i just bought a LM2 bullet i want to tone it down just a tad. Im very happy with this exhaust though. Hooker exhaust sounds ok with a ory, but it is not stainless and the tips look like ****.

i plan on putting my hookers on in addition to the loudmouth, maybe ill look into magnaflow but not hooker one of my buddys has it on his 2000 and its not loud enough for me

lt's no cats h pipe and lm1 resonators=LOUD!!!! before they installed the crossover pipe it was just obnoxiously loud, now with the crossover it's abit quieter

actually just got my car back from the exhaust shop today.....i had SLP LTs O/R Y and LM2s installed....its sounds really good. my really good buddy has a 98 with a full exhaust and flows...its not a whole lot louder than his but its deeper and has a cleaner sound!

to me LM1s are just screamers! too raspy for my tastes
