header install, need help

Default header install, need help

ok so stated install on LT's today, everything went pretty smooth, only thing was the third cat was seperated, the top and bottom half had come apart and the insides were rotted out. anyways we were trying to get the passanger side out and the dipstick is stuck, i tried a search and got nothing.

you have 3 cats on your car? Dipstick has only one bolt holding it in, right by the maniflold. Take out that bolt and pull

yea the dip stick is a bitch but it comes out just pull hard as hell, but ive never heard of three cats of an F-body.

i threw mine in the microwave haha jk. so unbolt the one screw and then just hulk that bitch out? we pulled on that thing for an hour and it didnt move...i guess i need to start lifting weights or something. other question... i bought the LTs used and they were "stamped" to clear the K-member, should i still have to jack up my engine?

i wouldnt jack up your motor unless you can not get them in otherwise...are you sure you unbolted the right screw? its not hard at all to take out...

the "third cat" that he's talking about is probably the flex joint in the Ypipe.

the bolt for the dipstick should be 15mm
