what's the second cable?

what's the second cable? i noticed that the throttle body cam on my 2000 trans am has two cables going to it. obviously one's to open the throttle blade but what's the other one for? i look at pics of other people's cars and i only see the one.

Don't hold me to it...pretty sure there was some cars that came without it though, just not sure which ones. Probably the 1LE if anything.
