I have QTP's I am looking at in my living room. I got them about 2 months ago. I would have gone ARH if I had known all I do now. PM me if you wanna know more.

Default also

would like to also say that i will be puttin poly motormount on when i do this so i know that will lift it alittle as well. y does everyone vote kooks but no reasons for y there are better. I know they are great headers but QTP and ARH are also. just seems to be a spread that these are the best but never get a reason besides because they are. I hear bout merge collectors and equal lenth headers on QTP and the great fitment and how they are made specifically on the ARH but always just hear kooks are the best and when i ask what makes them the best people just say they just are????????not saying they are not just want to hear the reasoning behind the backing of them.

I know you say gotta be stainless, but for those that don't care about stainless (and just to give you the info since you asked about clearance), my Pacesetters with the Pacesetter ORY have about the best ground clearance I've seen. They also don't bang at ALL on the bottom of the car. The y-pipe fits so well that I'd pick it over a y-pipe that makes a couple extra horsepower over the Pacesetter. The y-pipe IS stainless, by the way, just not the headers.

hooker, same design as my jet hots, good ground clearance. my SLP drive shaft safety loop and my aluminum trans pan sit / hang lower than my headers

My vote goes to ARH for good quality and ground clearance. Kooks QTP and Hookers fot great too but those are all the headers I have saw in person. I chose ARH due to the design of their Y pipe.

probably should of said this but the y pipe is not an issue. ordering the bassani duals along with the headers. will all go on at some time.....looking like ARH to me. was between them and qtp but ARH are made in the good ol USA. i will pay an extra 100 for that.

Dynatechs are underated and a very good header. They are stainless. One of the best you can get for ground clearance.Heres a pic when I still had my car......

i vote Kooks. awesome fitment slid right in. ground clearance is the best your going to get. i would also recomend the ARH headers and cant wait to see the LPP headers coming out. QTP is a toss up. you never know what your going to get. i think their collectors are a joke (yes, ive actualy held them and have pictures). not worth my time and money. thats why you will see people chose kooks over QTP. kooks, ARH even the dynatech headers are a better quality and have awesome customer support (dont know about the dynatechs support though). try calling QTP w/ a problem. they will tell you to screw.
