I saw your post in my other thread about wanting to be louder. What is your exact setup right now? Do you have stock manifolds, stock y pipe with a cutout, then flowmaster?

switch your headers to the opposite sides , mounting them so the collectors go out the hood .... then just cut a hole in your hood....... you could even wire up a spark plug and be all top fuelish ... thad be loud

Well since I already have a catback on I don't want to take it off I could just sawsaul a small piece so that it will be open headers but still have the duals coming out.

Everything stock except flowmaster catback and 3 inch cutout before the catback.

You can buy some long tube headers and off road y-pipe. Then run that thru the cutout. That should be pretty loud

yes, I also agree on getting headers to increase sound. I think you basically want to just make a cut in you y pipe to make it louder. Yes it will make it louder - but thats kind of a ghetto *** way of making your car louder.

I would vote on just getting longtubes and a ORY. I have hooker Supercomps through a catted y and a Loudmouth. That **** is loud.

Just buy a set of headers and then put a cutout behind each one. The headers will make it louder than stock manifolds and with the cutouts you can open them up and sound like open headers and then close them when you want it to be quiet. Also you will lose low end torque running open headers so it is not necessarily a benefit it just makes it loud.

Go with headers and ORY

I don't know how you plan on cutting BEFORE the headers. Just don't bolt them up to the heads.
I will just save you further embarassment and say yes, this is a bad idea, and yes I am locking the thread. You got your answers.
