C5 maf same as F-body?

Just wondering..cuz i need to tune my car and this z06 maf is just crap on my car..so i am trading it to someone who want's it..but he has a 99 vette..just wondering if I put his stock maf on my z28 would it would work fine with no problems?...Thank's,
