clutch knocking

when i go back and forth from 1st to 2nd (just inbetween gears not all the way in) i get this clunking sound coming from underneath just want to know if anyone had the same problem and if they did what did u do to fix it...also when im gears and im getting on it, i get a wierd noise from the trans...

A little change in sound is normal when you move the shifter like that. A clunking sound indicates something is wrong, probably inside the trani, unfortunately.

do u think it might be the u-joints makeing that sound...i hope its not the tranny u know they say its bullit proof but its not TMONEY proof..lol

it may be a transmission mount.

Are you sure its from the tranny? I started getting a clunking sound which I thought was from the tranny, but it was acutally my rear going bad. It did it, from a stop to a start and vice versa.
