Default What should I do next?

So I just recently bought a 99 Z28 M6 early Feb of this year. I had to bust it out about 1 1/2 weeks ago (which is a little earlier than I wanted to) cause my winterbeater has a grinding cv shaft. Just about to turn over 70,000. It has a shittastic Flowmaster catback, SLP Lid, smooth bellow, K&N filter, ported and polished TB, Hotchkins strut tower brace (which is pretty much looks, personal opinion I guess). Pro 5.0, Lous short throw stick, Eibach springs with Blisten shocks. Thats pretty much it for mods. I am wondering what I should do next? I have done TONS of searches, and I want your personal opinion, cause I am on a budget right now, school full time, work, ect. I am thinking of doing TD's under or over the axle not really sure yet. From what I have searched Pacesetter LT's are your best bang for the buck. It seems like the next 3 things I need to do are 300 bucks and up. (LS6 intake, TD's, LT's) Really what I would like to get is a 9" but $2,500 is a little ways away...lol....

Summing it up, what have you guys that are in college, and working, done first to your cars? This will be a DD. My buddy has a 99 Cobra with about 280 to the wheels, he has some plans this summer for it, so I dont want him catching up in HP!!!

Thanks!

Sorry for the dragged on post!!!

I was in your shoes. I did pacesetters and the TSP TDs. Ran me around 7-800 at the time. That was all I did for about a year and the car was very enjoyable to drive.

I thought TSP TD's hooked up to your stock manifolds? Or was it the fact that they where dumps? I dont really remember which one it was, I am not a big fan of dumps.

The TSP duals fit on LT headers and dump at the axles, but you can have an exhaust shop run them out the back of the car. For how cheap stainless headers are getting, I would get a set of the LPP stainless headers for not much more than the Pacesetters when they get them in.

The Bassani TDs hook up to your stock manifolds. The TSP TDs dump right before the rear axle. They are a good starting block IMO if you are looking to run the system out back anyhow.

I knew one was a dump and the other was hooked up to the stock manifolds...My biggest fear is that I will get the "mod addiction" and then boom goes my rear end.

Yeah I noted in my OP that LS6 intake was next.

I love the sound of a nice LOUD exhaust.

Another way I could save money is to coat the headers myself, has anyone done this?

Thanks for the replys!!!
