Default Thinking about XS headers?

I recently bought my XS/LPP headers and Y and had them installed, everything fit so great and tucked up under my super low car like a dream. I am very pleased at the ease of the install and the beauty of these products..especially the price.
Here are some pictures of my headers.. I recommend them for all my friends
excuse my oil leak and finger prints on the stainless steel.

*EDIT* This is how low my car is.. can has to be shoved underneath :O

I just bought them a few weeks ago, he said that this was the new Y pipe design.
I believe that XS doesn't sell their headers on ebay anymore. With the Y and headers it was 550 with free shipping. Just PM black2002ws6
I think this is the link to all the info that he posted on them

Looks damn good! Good to see LPP (forum sponsor) got the kinks worked out. I had only a few simple issues with my XS ebay setup (DS collector and K member notching), but overall they were well worth the paltry sum I spent for stainless. The LPP setup should be able to go toe to toe with any competitor regardless of price.

Who is "they" anyway. China?

I believe there is just a bit of confusion on these headers and their origin. LPP is marketing these headers, XS is not anymore from what I gather. LPP has made needed adjustments to the XS headers and Y and apparently has sole rights to market the improved version. There is still a version of XS available on ebay with AIR/EGR provisions without a Y for sale. They are priced so cheaply, I would assume they are inventory closeouts and will soon be no longer available...unless of course LPP wants to make them available. LPP has stated however, they will not sale emmisions headers.

I have done alot of reading on this topic and this is just my understanding.

One more thing. The OP should have descibed them as LPP headers if in fact that is where he got them.

No. Not even close. Not even the same grade of steel. The $200 ebay ones are a ridiculously cheap knockoff.

I can't wait for these to come out. The new merge on the collector looks really good, as does the y-pipe.

These are not the LPP headers, as they have not been released yet. These are the same XS design, with the revised version of thier Ypipe. She must have gotten these right before they sold out of the XS style header design.

I forget, are you still running the stock catback with the headers? How much louder did things get?

Thats good to hear, I am installing headers and ORY soon and was afraid it would be much louder. But its not so much it being louder I would dislike its just that I dont want any rasp.
