Default Mac vs. SLP

I really wated some SLP long tube headers, but my buddy wants to sell me his Mac "mid" length headers and y-pipe for a great price. Is there a big difference, any info would be great thanks

If you have a lowered car then you ll face serius ground clerance problems with the SLP,also SLP s are a lot harder to install a little hp&tq advantage on the higher rpm s.

I still have yet to see solid evidence that the SLPs make less... has anyone done a dyno within the same week using the SAME car with the SAME mods?

I've got SLP LT's w/Hooker Catback. I gotta tell ya I LOVE 'EM. They were difficult to install (my first header install), but fit like a glove. I haven't dynoed it yet, but I recently raced a buddy of mine who has the 2002 SS Aniversary edition (345 hp stock) - no contest. I don't plan on lowering my car, so I haven't had any clearance issues.
