Default SLP LID install?????

I bought a used lid and my AIR hose doesn't reach, should I just cover it with a rag so nothing gets sucked in and buy a breather filter tomorrow? I am removing the air system next week when my headers come in..

Yea the hole in the lid is plugged. What about the hose that is supposed to go into that hole. The 1in rubber hose with vacuum at idle?

Its probably ,missing the extention. Just block the hole in the lid.(If it has one and dont worry about filtering the air pump if you are taking it off next week. Just unplug it under the car and you wont have to worry about sucking stuff in. It will throw a light but it will be there anyway after the header install.

I just wrapped a shop towel around the end of the rubber hose and hose clamped the rag on so nothing gets sucked up.
