broken harland sharp rocker arm

broken harland sharp rocker arm anybody break one of these? a friend of mine broke on clean in 2 peices and just wondering if anyone else had a simailar problem. they are harland sharps 1.7's

i cracked one on the side where the little bar goes in to hole the 2 in line together. $90 bucks to replace it. imagine they wont warrenty a less then 1 year old piece.
i guess thats what you get when you cheep out.
