Cam selection
Cam selection OK guys i sold the turbo and i am starting over ......I have 3.73 ,nittos,lid and all the free mods....i want to start with a cam ......Some one help me pick a good one i love my buddies torquer 2..and i want somehting like that but witha a lil more chop and what all do i need EX cam pushrods springs......and what can i leave stock for now.......
Alot of people really like the Torquer 2. I have the 233/239 .595/.603 cam on a 113lsa. Its not as choppy as a 112, but I'm happy with it. If you want more bottom end, get the Torquer 2, if you want more top end, get the same as me. The MS3 is pretty popular also.
Most people get a least new springs, and a ported LS6 oil pump. I have springs, but not a pump and it works fine. It depends what all you get for the price, all TSP's cams are roughly the same price. They have some pretty good package deals that include your choice of cam and LSA, spring kit, and hardened pushrods.
