Default coolant temp sensor help!

Does anyone have advice on a quick way to unthread a coolant temp sensor that is broken off inside the head?

Thanks,
Scott

Drill & easy out, prolly your only option.

Yuck, hoping to hear something better. Well no drilling will be required since the guts all came out with the connector end. I just have the threaded section in the threads of the head to get out.

I've had luck using a small deburring bit to grind as close to the threads as possible without damaging and then using a small chisel to split the threaded piece in half or at least break it off piece by piece. Be careful not to damage the threads too much. You'll then want to tap the threads out and use some teflon tape or liquid on the threads of the new sensor to ensure a good seal. Good luck!
