Default 02 simulators

on my 98 z28 i just got headers put on it and i was wondering what would be better. to get o2 simulators or to just get my o2 after my cats turned off. thanks for your imput.

Talked to texas speed and performance today and i guess the epa shut down the manufacturing of 02 simulators. they can prgram your pcm to ignore

you can go to a muffler shop....if they dont mind cuz here in california they are hella scared cuz california is retarded when it comes to that ****....well anyways.....they can make a hole for the 02 sensor after the cat thats what i did!!!

Unless a muffler shop can turn it off then you are SOL.

so you just plug the sims in and let them hang there?

If you can find simms you just zip tie them to a tab on the transmission or to them selves to pick up the slack.

ok so one of my friends told me that you can use a resistor for an o2 simulator. i just need to know what size of resister i need. does anyone know anything about this.. thanks.

I got o2 sims off of the net, but dont think they worked...My check engine light is still on.

takes quite a bit of system check start ups for a failure code to erase by its self
