Thanks for the help, I do like the idea of being able to get loud if I want with cutouts and quite with the stock exhaust.

The ls6 intake is worth more and more HP the more mods you do.

Do you plan on camming the car, New heads? F/I?

I'd wait and get long tubes and a cat back at same time and do not waste your time with shorty headers

Headers definatly!

A good catback will flow better and give you a few HP. LT's however not only flow better...they scavange also. That means that they will basically create a vacum, and such the exhaust out your cylinder heads. A LT setup with proper tune is good for 20-30HP...you will be very hard to find that in a catback.

i agree the headers (and get lt's) will be the most powerful bolt on you do, ad a cutout and it will add a few hp also, but i would also look into a ls6 intake because it will flow better and let your mods make more hp than they could with the ls1 intake

when i got my car, i went with the catback right away. if i did it over again i would have waited and gotten the headers and exhaust at once. it saves time under the car. you'll notice more of a difference with headers over a catback though, so if you have to get something now, i would get headers.

Can't be much easier than LTs. The hardest part is taking all the stock **** off.
