OK i want to run my true duels now but i need some help deciding....I want something really loud but to still sound good but not a tone of money......I still have the stock manifolds for now but will soon be doing long tubes along with the cam...so someonegive me some tips........and 2/12 or 3 inch

I have some magnaflow round race muffs but they are huge i dont think i have room for them ..

 

wait until you do the longtubes, or you'll be doing the duals twice.

 

well my girls grand parent own the shop so they said no problem they will redo itcheap and i wont have the cam and headers for a while ...

 

look in the td section above. everyone has there own definition of loud, and to me with the magnaflows it's damn quiet, also theres alot of people who run 2.5 inch with no problems. i have 2.5 duals with single chamber fm's and its tame around town but when you get on it it screams. heres my set uphttps://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...881&highlight=

 

just grab a couple bullets then, whatever sound you like. extend them, dump them right before the rear axle. have them weld in an h-pipe. Keep the cats on.

well i am not going with flows or borla cus we try not to have any of the same sounds

 

i'm runnin 2.5" on mine, H set-up with LM1 dumped . . . it's loud!!!!!

 

ok i talked to th shop they siad dynomax bullets 3 inch with x pipe dumped before the axle ...but they said i should choose the dynomax length so ...should i get the short or the long ones........?

 

thats what i have...i made a video of my car and i could post it if you want to hear it...i erased all my sound clips though

not to be a stickler or anything but I'm afraid I'm going to have to call BS on that one Jarret. I started off with bullets, Ivan got bullets on his SS, Rusty got bullets, ...................sounds like there's going to be a lot of cars w/ the "same sounds"

Ive got Long tubes and the TSP X-Rumbler with Sweet Thunder mufflers. You should check it out. not too loud on idle, but when you get on it it can be loud!

 

I enjoy a spiral on mine over a full bullet style. With my setup it is way to damn loud.

 

I got spiral flows on mine and wouldn't trade them for anything else

 

i started off with bullets whenever i got my true duals and upgraded to spiral flows . it sounds way better with 0 rasp
