FAST 90 question

After installing my new FAST 90/90 setup I relized I didn't use the 2 pieces of foam on the bottom of the intake.

Are they used to dampen intake sound from the KNOCK sensors?
Not that big a deal if I have to lift the intake and install them,
but I'd rather be modifying something else.

Yeah it also keeps all the crap out too haha. I took my intake out 3 times in a matter of 2 days now I can do it with my eyes closed haha.

Well, I haven't driven yet as I need to get HPTuners hooked up and adjust my idle a bit I've noticed when reving the engine it has a louder and throatier sound even while idling around 950 rpm.

Man, I can't wait to drive with this new set up.

Anyone else?

i didnt put the foam on either.. it definetly sounds alot throatier

Anyone else out there have an opinion?
This intake material seems to be thinner on the bottom of the lower portion than other areas. Are the knock sensors that sensitive or am I being paranoid?
