Default Hooker Super Comps...

Well I've been doing a lot of research on headers just like everyone else on this board and I have found that if you have the money just go stainless and be done with it. My problem is, I don't have that kinda of money. My buddy just picked up a set of hooker super comps and said they were awsome. Any comments or concerns on these headers. I did a search but no one really replied much. I originally wanted to go with ARH but $1100 is just to deep for my pocket right now. I have a little under $800 right now and I dont know what to do because I know I will need a tune to get my codes deleted. Can some one please help me out?....

I'm finishing up a Hooker LT install on my car right now and they are VERY nice headers. They fit great and they were pretty easy to install. I went with the regular Comp headers...bought mine from a sponsor on here and got a great price.

The only way to go is Kooks Stainless. You get what you paid for. I had a pair of hooker and was not impressed. After 9000 miles of only nice weather driving over 3 years they cracked......Get the good stuff!

hooker headers worked on my dads 9 sec 64' chevelle, my 2000 trans am, and there gunna work on my 9 sec 69' camaro. There a very reputable brand theres no problem with them at all. Sorry to hear bandits cracked but, i feel it couldhave happened to anyone, there preformance is right up there with the top.

I have Hooker Comps. I am very happy with them. The install was fairly smooth. Only trouble I had was getting the car up high enough not to make it a pain....not Hooker's fault. Its been 2 years now and they still look brand new. My only complaint is their location of the O2 bungs. That in itself is a fairly quick fix if you want to do it. I would recommend them

ok wrong. hooker super comps have the power spere. The comp's dont. I have comps because i dont think the power sprer helps if you have a full exaust it seems as if theyd only help for open headers.

I was about to say the same thing. My 1 3/4 just barely fit it.
