Some Header ??'s

Ok I finally got my Y-pipe in, and now Im ready to install the LT's to my car.

My question is: What kind of gaskets should I get to go along with the install? My car has 102K on it and I figure the gaskets could stand to be replaced anyways. What do you all suggest?

Also I have the Air/EGR hook ups too, and Should I buy the gaskets to go along with them also where it has the high mileage?

If your gonna keep your AIR, get gaskets for the hook ups at your local dealer. As for the headers I used felpro gaskets and I cant complain.

Stock MLS are are great and cheap. If you are careful you could reuse yours but at that mileage I'd spend the $20 and go new for piece of mind.

Well I have heard of alot of people running copper gaskets? What is the difference between those and the Stock ones from GM??

Link in my sig might shed some light on the install... I would just get some GM MLS (multi layer steel) stock gaskets. 30 bucks for the pair and are proven over and over again.

i agree i got some new stock ones i hear thats the way to go

thats what i used putting in my pace setters the other night and they sealed up really well

Hey I seen that your from Eastern Ky. Where at? Im from Letcher County if you know where that is.

Yea im prolly gonna get a set of GM ones, I dont want to reuse my old ones cause of the high mileage.
Would I have to go to the dealer to get these or would AutoZone have them?
