Default tsp true duals

hello i have a 2000 firehawk with pacesetter LT's and ory with a LM dual/dual set up right now. i do not like the rasp i am getting with my set up. i was thinking about getting some tsp true duals and have done a lot of research here on them but i still have some unanswered questions. well i was wondering does the regular trans am suspension sit higher than my blistien on my firehawk? and will i have clearece issues with the TD's? lasty i have been reading on here about the muffler choices and well out of the 3 which is the least raspiest sound? ve heard many clips on ls1sounds.com and its hard to tell, any help is greatly appreciated!
thank you,
tony

I don't think I have ever heard a TSP Dual kit raspy, come to think of it, I don't think I have ever heard any dual kit raspy....

Also, I have seen many pictures since I was looking into the TSP kit, and since I installed it, and I haven't seen many that will clear a popcan at the lowest point.
So that's about 4 ~ 4.5" at best unless you bang the crap out of the under body and seat wells.

I don't have a full pop can at the lowest point and I think I did all you could to tuck them up without banging metal.
I am stock suspension too.

Rasp will be a thing of the past with the duals. You will have some due to the resonance carried by the AL block.
You should have less clearance problems than most y-pipe users do with a dual setup. I run 2.5" from the collector to the tip. A full can will slide under any part of the setup.

alright thanx guys yeah that was the main thing i was worried about was clearance issues but it sounds like it will work out good. but yeah i heard someone say that the spiral flows actually produced a raspy tone to them.

I know what you mean with rasp, I tried about every catback and hated them all. I went with the 3 inch duals with spiralflows and I have NO rasp. I since have put tailpipes on it just to tone the sound down in the car. Click the link in my signature if ya want to hear it.

^^ that sounds good I love the sound of the spiral flows. I'm stuck between those or sweet thunders at the moment.

You can't go wrong with either muffler. I've personally had both sets of mufflers on a TD setup and they both sound awesome, I prefer the sweet thunders though.

a muffler alone should not cause you to lose 50 RWHP( i don't know 100% but it sounds illegitimate)... if it does your exhaust might as well be 1/2 closed off into a 1.5 inch pipe... I use Bullets, they're mean, and nasty. There's drone when driving and shifting gears. I love mine. I will not change, although im going to have them exit the rear of the car soon with cats on them, or gutted cats...

You may be thinking of 95GreenZ28 who posted up there^^. He lost around 30 rwhp going through spiral flows in his I-pipe on the dyno.

yeah^^ he posted in someones thread who lost 50 rwhp through a spiral flow on a I pipe. i was wondering if anyone lost this much power through duals though? i plan on buying the tsp duals and i was thinking about the spiral flows until i read about the power loss. if this is true im going to go with the dynomax bullets and i will have to live with the drone.

I had the duals with spiral flows. Didn't really feel any difference in power with those compared to my sweet thunders now and I loved the sound of them.

im also curious as to what "drone" is.. i have hooker headers, ory, and LM I and if that obnoxious sound that occurs around 2200 is drone then it aggravates the hell out of me, so i just give it more pedal and it sounds alot better haha

I made a video of drone, i'm accelerating in a lower gear and then listen as i put in the clutch. at least that's my understanding of it.
