Default tps sensor

i am swapping parts off of my ls6 intake to my fast 90 and i take off the tps sensor (which i put on new last year) and i see that it has no spring tension at all. Ok this is junk. I get a new on try to line it up with the notch on the new tb and snap, it goes past its lowest point and now no longer has any spring tension. One more time this time i put it on the stock tb and same thing. so it is not the throttle body that is the problem, and these are A/C delco sensors #213-912. G.M.#17123852 so wtf. i dont have the motor in the car yet to hook up the tech 2 and see if the voltage is screwed up. Maybe it will work fine like that. I dunno. Just curious if anybody has run into the same problem.

Should work fine....it is a variable resitor and postion is what counts.

I have 2 new AC TPS sensors and neither one has spring tension on them.

+1 for usesless spring. the tension is irrelavent, the throttle return spring takes care of the sensor. the sensor is mearly a potentiometer (variable resistor) which doesnt rely on the spring at all.
