Cylinder head air bleeds
With the a Cylinder head air bleeds....
I know you are supposed to block the rear ones and have the cross over on the front.
But I was thinking of having the cross over in the back so I could run the hose to the overflow.
Would it hurt anything to have the block offs in the front and the cross over in the back?
Thanks, Kris

Don't block the fronts. The fronts are the high point & you'll trap air. Alot of us connect the front & rear vents, tie them together & into the top of the radiator hose. This gives a bit more circulation @ the rear of the block & is also another place for air to escape should there be any. Also, you don't need any pre-made cross over tubes to do this. Just install some hose to NPT nipples to the vent ports & connect them w/ fuel line or heater hose.
What type of T do you use to tie into the radiator hose?

My engine didnt come with the GM pipes, so are you saying make my own?
I'm not sure what NPT nipples are, would these bolt on the block where the GM tubes go?
Thanks, Kris
Once you have a look @ the area, it will be more clear. If not, you can just run the front vents to the top of the radiator hose & be done. Good-luck
