Default Help me out with an exhaust leak problem...

I've had my headers on for about a year now. Just recently the y pipe actually came out of the header. Ok, so I put it back on and tightened up the band clamp (I have the ones from ls1speed.com). Go around, tighten all the clamps, most of them seemed good, I noticed some leakage but it didn't seem major. I turned the car on and it leaks still where the driver side header meets the y pipe. The actually leak is coming from the part where the band clamp bolts together. Anyway to stop this? Its not bad at this point, but its frustrating because I know its there. For what its worth, I have pacesetters and texas speed y pipe.

Use a little aluminum foil at the slip joint as a gasket for where the band clamp bolts together. I did that and my leaks went away..

Excellent! Thank you for the advice. I put some sealant on there today, but I think tomorrow I will undo the band clamps and add some tin foil also!

Just a heads up, tin foil works. I curved it like the band clamp and put it where the leak was. Beaded a little sealant on it and it worked! So if anyone searches for this or is looking for a way to stop the leak, this works.
