160 thermostat temp.?

160 thermostat temp.?

I HAVE HAD IT FOR A WHILE, BUT JUST NOTICED SOMETHING. MY CARS TEMP IS ALWAYS AROUND 210 OR SO. I HAVE THE 160 THERM. AND MANUAL FAN SWITCH. IS THIS RIGHT?

The temp gauge in the '99-02's are dummy gauges. They always read ~210 degrees.

Your temp guage is always gonna show around 210*. Its, for lack of a better term, a dummy guage. My after market water temp guage differs over the stock unit by about 20 to 30 degrees.

I appreciate the tips fella's. So recommend me an after market water temp guage? easy install?

I noticed the same thing. I have 160o stat, Hpp3 and water wetter (REDLINE) and still the minimum temp is 210.
Does GM think we are all really idiots? We should have phased out GM engeneers and not the Camaro.
