Default 85mm Lid?

I am pretty much stock right now besides the magnaflow catback. I decided that it is time to pick up a lid and the FTRA. I would like to know if there will be any real difference between me getting an SLP lid and a FTP 85mm lid. Also, Would I have to purchase anything else along with the 85mm lid with me being stock.

You really don't need it unless you going to get a bigger TB and FAST intake with the 90/90 set up. A regular Lid from any sponsor here is as good as any give or take a 1-2 HP.

You can install the Fast Toys 85mm intake with your stock MAF but you would also need to purchase the MAF adapter/coupler for 8.00. The advantage of the Fast Toys lid over others is that it will allow you to upgrade to an 85mm MAF later on. This is really useful if you plan to modify your car more in the future. You simply remove the little coupler and slide the 85mm MAF right into our lid. It also works great for speed density conversion (NO MAF at all).

After now owning 6 lids over 9 years, I would say buy the 85mm Fast Toys lid. Excellent quality and the as mentioned upgrade ability.

For God's sake don't buy the SLP lid. It is an absolute pain in the *** to get to fit on your MAF. Do what I should've done the first time around, get the Fast Toys lid.

+1 for the Fast Toys 85mm lid fitting and looking great.

But as stated above, if its for performance, there are other mods that will perform better at this early point of your modding.
