Cats off, I feel the diff. I have a cheater cam, long tube, pat II head combo that makes 394 rwhp. I haven't felt a diff in this car since when I did my first mod of adding the lid. I cut off the carsound cats yesterday, and I can actually feel the diff. The right one wouldn't transmit any light through it and the left allowed a small glimmer in the center. How much power could these cat's have possibly been holding back?
What's weird is I felt the 5-10 hp with the addition of the lid. I didn't feel the 70- 80 hp with the addition of the cam/ head combo. Now, I can somehow feel the 5-10 hp increase with the cats off.
