ENG CTRL fuse

I keep blowing the ENG CTRL fuse and its pissing me off cause its sending my tranny into limp mode....im also throwing an EVAP code......Has anyone ever had this problem? If so where did u start looking and what could cause this damn fuse to blow?.....where do the wires to this fuse run?

check the wires that run along side your passenger header, that goto your crank position sensor and your O2 sensor..

My 02 sensor wires look a little jacked...but wouldnt that make me throw an 02 code?....ill check that out tho.

The trans and charcoal canister purge solenoid are on the same circuit, so either one could be the cause. Look up the EVAP code for your year at gearchatter.com, some of the desciptions/diagnostics have a wiring schematic. Maybe disconnect the solenoid and then see how the tranny responds?
