Stroker Kit or shortblock hey guys im lookin to either do a motor swap to a 408 or stroke my 02 ls1 to a 408. please leave me some input on this as far as whats easier and cost effective and power gain. a 408 from ws6project is about 4g's and a little over 3 for the stroke kit but i noticed on the stroke kit it comes with better pistons, crank etc. PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANK!!!

How good are you at building engines? I perfer doing the work myself, but not everyone has the time, space, or know how. But saving on the labour, and knowing exactly how your engine was put together is worth it in my books.

I would think something like this would be more cost effective than doing a LS1 stroked to that displacement. You would also save the extra cost of the sleeves for the LS1. L92 or the like heads will bolt right up.
After my 9" goes in I plan on getting one of these and tossing on a L92/L76 combo.
Just shop around, there are alot of sponsors with very good deals, that use quality parts.
